- Repeated Provider Cancellations: Providers with frequent cancellations may be suspended or removed from the platform to ensure consistency and reliability for clients.
1.2. Client-Initiated Cancellations
- Cancellation Outside of 24 Hours: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service qualify for a 50% refund of the service fee. Booking fees are non-refundable.
- Late Cancellations (Within 24 Hours): Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled service will not be eligible for a refund. This policy helps compensate providers for the short notice and lost opportunity.
- Non-Refundable Service Fees: Any upfront booking or service fees are non-refundable as they cover administrative and processing costs.
1.3. No-Show Policy
- No-Shows: Clients who do not attend or are unavailable at the scheduled service time, without prior cancellation, will forfeit the entire service fee. No refunds will be issued in these cases.
2. Refunds Related to Rescheduling
2.1. Client-Initiated Rescheduling
- Free Rescheduling (Outside 24 Hours): Clients may reschedule without penalty if the request is made at least 24 hours prior to the service time. No refund is issued for rescheduled appointments as the service is retained.
- Rescheduling Fee (Within 24 Hours): For rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the service time, a 20% rescheduling fee applies. No refund will be granted, as the service remains scheduled for a later date.
2.2. Provider-Initiated Rescheduling
- Provider Rescheduling: If a service provider needs to reschedule, clients will have the option to accept the new time or receive a 100% refund of both the service and booking fees if the proposed time does not work for them.
3. Refund Processing Timeline
- Standard Processing: Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days and will be credited to the original payment method. In cases of delays beyond the specified period, clients may contact support@guyanaexpert.services for further assistance.
- Refund Timelines by Payment Provider: Please note that some payment processors may take additional time to process the refunds. GuyanaExpert.Services is not liable for delays caused by third-party providers.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
4.1. Client-Side Emergencies
- Documented Emergencies: If a client cancels due to documented emergencies, such as serious illness or unforeseen personal matters, they may request a waiver of cancellation fees or a full or partial refund. Documentation may be required to assess eligibility.
4.2. Provider-Side Emergencies
- Service Provider Emergency: Should a provider experience an emergency that prevents service fulfillment, the client will receive a 100% refund, covering both service and booking fees, or may choose to reschedule with no additional costs.
4.3. Force Majeure Events
- Natural Disruptions or Government Mandates: For uncontrollable situations (e.g., severe weather, natural disasters), GuyanaExpert.Services will offer clients a choice between a full refund and rescheduling at no additional cost. This policy also applies to service providers impacted by such events.
5. Dispute Resolution Process
5.1. Filing a Refund Dispute
- Dispute Submission: If a client or provider disagrees with a refund decision, they may submit a dispute by emailing support@guyanaexpert.services within 72 hours of the transaction.
5.2. Resolution Timeline
- Investigation and Decision: Our support team will review communications, documentation, and transaction details and respond within 5 business days. GuyanaExpert.Services will make a final, binding decision in the spirit of fairness and respect for both parties.
